Re: Neighbourhood BBQ - Friday, July 26th

I have someone's home-made relish (and their tupperware container) stashed in my fridge, leftover from the BBQ.  Send me a message if it's yours!

Looking to borrow a ladder over 30 feet long

I'm looking to borrow a ladder to clean the last of my evestroughs.  I can handle pickup and return, probably in the same day.  My neighbour's 30 footer can't quite make the distance and my A-frame ladder is better suited for hanging Christmas decorations. I'm open to suggestions about how to compen...

Looking for Handyman & Plumber recommendations

Is there anyone you would have used in the past or you wolud recommend for plumbing repairs or someone for general handyman services?  I've got some odd jobs and a bathroom leak on my to-do list that would be best handled professionally.

Re: What is the 100 year floodplain?

This a map of the Belltown area showing the flood plain area in blue . Each small parcel outlined in black is a different lot address. The map isn't quite good enough to read each lot address, but if you count the number of lots from your closest street corner, you should be able to find yours prett...

Re: What is the 100 year floodplain?

Hi Conrad, I'm going to try to get this topic started. There's a lot of detail. This post explains what the floodplain is, and what areas it covers. What is the 100 year Floodplain The 100 year floodplain is the highest water level over the past 100 years. For us, it is currently defined by 1954's H...
